Insanity's Uncle

June 15, 1969:

"rain and everthing,

no good day..."

what?

Y'know,

it's days like today

that really make me miss

the Cold War.

And small pox apparently got their name

because people needed to distinguish

between them and 'great pox.'

Y'know, syphilis.

Poor small pox.

This is what I get for taking

European history.

Aye, American = you. I hope you're not a red-neck. Me, I'm from jolly olde Englande =). We'll have to work out the time difference at some point. It'll be truly fascinating. Or something.

I always feel like I have to comment on your latest post for some reason. This is a relevant comment to make at this time (I swear!) as the posts I actually wanted to respond to were your new WotD (that's right, Word of the Day) - rhapsody is an excellent word, good choice - and also "3am". That was my favourite post of yours ever. I have no real idea why, it just touched something in me and I think it truly merits the term "poetry".

In other news, I finally wrote a new piece that I don't hate, which I shall go and post up now.

Hasta luego, ladybug,
R.

i miss the cold war in that i could have a justified hatred of communists. if i were a pox, i would rather be small pox than great pox.
however, if i were anything else, i'd rather be great than small.

also, tqxbig sounds like a subliminal message from the government. however, it might be one of my favorites to date. with the exception of joniv.
